Note: This blog will host my entire journey of scaling a small business and some personal life stories. This will be raw. 0 edits. The language won't be polished. As I don't want to spend more than 30 minutes a day. But for you, raw means fun. Enjoy.

Section 1: Business stuff

Today marks the first day of my first paid gig as a marketer.

I've worked very hard for the last 10 months. Working on skills such as copywriting and marketing.

The bigger battle was convincing my parents that I wouldn't look for a job.

After taking a loan worth €50,000

We always fought. Until today.

I was given a deadline. If I'm not able to find a client until June 2024, I'd start looking for a job. I DIDN'T WANT A JOB.

June 1, 2024 - *enter my first paying client.

It was hard work. SHEER hard work.

Cold outreaches every day.

Rejections, every day.

The current client had ghosted me for 3 months.

I had lost all hope.

What kept me going was my undying love for entrepreneurship.

And rejections? I've faced countless, be it dating, job applications, or clients.

I kept learning every day. Weekdays and weekends alike.

10 hours a day, 7 days a week, 10 months straight.

(I had rest days)

When she responded to my 5th or 6th email, I was STOKED!

She liked my ideas. SHE LIKED MY IDEAS.

Now I had no clue how to make an offer and close a deal...

I could have easily fucked it up. I had NEVER done this before.

My first sales call! What are the chances I close?

Well, at this point it stands at 100%

(I have had marketing clients before. But not paid)

Made the perfect offer. 0 resistance.

But I was SO STRESSED,

First client. And I was about to ask for an INSANE amount of $$$.

Luckily, 10 months of 'YouTube'/unconventional education taught me how to build an irresistible offer.

Side note for me in the future: Keep learning. No matter what. Your rate of learning will decide how fast you'll achieve your goals.

I kept following up with her for 5 months(from start to finish). I learned new ideas and proposed those new ideas. shh...that's the secret. Following up is where the magic happens.

SO...

First day! ha!

Was smooth.

I got access to important stuff. Data, and content.

Played around with the data, and funnels.

I see room for improvement. I am confident that 5x revenue is achievable.

I need to play it right. If I succeed with this project, my career skyrockets.

If not, I'm in trouble.

I have to play it right. I have the knowledge.

But I've never executed stuff at this scale.

Won't lie, I'm a little anxious.

But this is the same kind of anxiety my ADHD brain loves.

It thrives under pressure.

Scored 99/100 in 11th-grade maths under the same pressure.

Here, I only need 20% of my ideas to work. Pareto Principle. 20% of ideas drive 80% of results.

I'm sure it'll be more than that.

So yeah, the first day was good.
